Det er noget specielt, når en fodboldspiller runder den milepæl – og især i verdens bedste liga.
Mange spillere har efterhånden opnået dette, men at kunne gøre det hurtigt, gør kun bedriften endnu flottere.
Legendariske Premier League-stjerner som Alan Shearer, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Andy Cole og Fernando Torres er nogle af dem, der har lavet 50 mål på færrest kampe. Men al logik siger, at de alle snart bliver overhalet af en langhåret nordmand.
Erling Haaland har nemlig ikke rundet 50 mål endnu, da han ‘kun’ har fundet netmaskerne 44 gange indtil videre. Det har han dog også kun brugt 41 kampe på, hvilket er 24 mindre end det Andy Cole har brugt på at lave sine 50 scoringer.

Haaland er den hurtigste i Premier League-historien til at nå 10 mål (seks kampe), 20 mål (14 kampe), 30 mål (27 kampe) og 40 mål (39 kampe), ligesom hans 36 ligascoringer sidste sæson også var en rekord.
Nordmanden må dermed siges, at være en rekordbryder af de helt store.
